Welcome to Contemporary Issues!
Students analyze governments, economies, peoples, and cultures from around the world in this course. Students apply critical thinking and research skills to examine current events and contemporary issues, including but not limited to: the 2016 election, human rights around the world, how globalization is affecting us, how religion is often used to facilitate and justify violence, and America's "War on Terror" and its impact on the Middle East and Islamic culture.
